Call for Volunteers: Primary 1 Orientation (21 Nov 2025)

We’re looking for at least 8 alumni volunteers—one for each of the 8 Primary 1 classes—to support Nan Hua Primary School’s P1 Orientation on Friday, 2 January 2026 (morning).

As classroom assistants, you’ll help teachers settle the children and guide them, keep an eye on movement, and offer friendly reassurance to our newest juniors. It’s a meaningful and hands-on way to give back—perfect for alumni who enjoy working with children and want to support the school community.

Event Details

• Date: Friday, 2 January 2026
• Time: 7:15 am – 11 am
• Venue: Nan Hua Primary School
• Roles: Classroom support (1 alumni per class × 8 classes = 8 volunteers)

What You’ll Do

• Assist teachers with classroom routines and simple activities
• Help manage movement (bathroom breaks, transitions, lining up)
• Offer reassurance to children adjusting to a new environment

Who We’re Looking For

• Alumni (13+) who are patient, friendly, and comfortable with children
• Available for the full morning slot

Good to Know

• Dress: Smart-casual with NHPSAA tee (will be issued if you don’t have one)
• Photography: Please follow the school’s instructions; no posting of student photos without permission
• Briefing: A short on-site briefing will be provided before you enter the classrooms
