Join us for a meaningful time with Hao Ren Hao Shi (https://www.haorenhaoshi.org.sg) to reach out and help needy families. This opportunity allows you to learn and assist in operating a charity minimart (as featured in https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/eligible-low-income-queenstown-residents-shop-for-free-at-the-happy-mart) as a family, in smaller groups, or individually. Together, we can genuinely help others in need.
Scope of work includes:
Before Opening Mart: Setup of the mart, Packing of provisions
Operating Hours: Assist beneficiaries and manning stations
Closing Hours: Restocking and closing
Date: 16th November 25 (Sunday)
(Priority will be given to first-time applicants, to ensure that everyone gets a chance to assist in such a rare opportunity.)
Timing(s): 8.30am to 2.30pm (There are 45mins breaks starting from 11.30am)
Location(s): Block 49 Stirling Road (S141049) (10 mins walk from Queenstown MRT Station, 650 metres)
Remarks (If Any): All volunteers to report in an alumni t-shirt or a white top (with covered shoes) at 8:25 am for briefing~
